Fees and Coverage
Investing in yourself and your relationships is one of the wisest decisions that you can make. Through personal experience, I have found that meeting with a therapist regularly, even for a short period of time, can be a difficult financial commitment. In light of this, I strive to keep costs affordable for the clients whom I serve while keeping the lights on in my small practice.
The cost for a one-hour session (50 minutes) is $140.00. These costs are often reimbursable through an extended health plan or at the end of the year through misc. health expenses through income tax claims. There is also a possibility of a sliding scale based on financial need and availability of sliding scale spots on my client roster. Session fees are payable by cash, personal cheque or e-transfer at the beginning of each session. Other methods of coverage for my services are Employee Assistance Plans and Alternate coverage plans. As I am covered through multiple panels and plans, it is best to check with your health insurance plan or Employee Assistance Plan and ask how to be referred to my services before booking an appointment.
